Rural Craft Revival was a DVD commissioned by REAP (Rural Education and Arts Project) highlighting the achievements of the project in rural Derbyshire and Staffordshire. The DVD demonstrates the importance of preserving the rural skills for future generations and how successful REAP has been in involving young people in acquiring these valuable skills. Several areas of rural crafts are covered, including dry stone walling, hedge laying, and woodland management. The DVD is a useful point of reference and a tool to understanding what is involved in beginning a career in rural crafts, and as a way to understand some of the important roles that exist within the countryside.
